Feeling a little like Christmas | Chicago Family Photographer|Tinley Park

It’s Christmas time!!

I absolutely loved reading about so many traditions in the Shoot Along Contest Post. Shoot Along is an awesome way to document a year in your family, while learning about photography.   While I wish I could have given everyone a gift card for it, I highly recommend you treat yourself to a Shoot Along 2016 membership, a gift for yourself : ) I promise it’s one gift you will treasure more each year.

At the Bailitz house, it is finally feeling like Christmas.  Last weekend, we took a trip to the Walnut Room at Macy’s on State Street for dinner.  To my surprise, it was walk-in with no wait time, and we had a wonderful family dinner.  After dinner, it was a beautiful December night, so we took advantage of it and we walked along State to look at the windows at Macy’s and then headed over to the tree in Millennium Park! At first I wasn’t sure about the new location for the tree, since it’s been in Daley Plaza for as long as I remember, but it was breathtaking and lit up Millennium Park for the holidays. It was the perfect first weekend of December for us and I was so happy I brought my new camera to test out, {Merry Christmas to me} as I came away with some fun pictures of the city!

So as we head into double digits tomorrow for December dates, our house is completely decorated inside & out, it is really feeling like Christmas at the Bailitz’s.
