motherhood memories – chicagoland family photographer

As mother’s day is just day’s away – I can’t help but think back how 9 years ago my journey of motherhood started and how rewarding, challenging, fun & fulfilling it has been. It is truly been a journey so far and I am so glad to share it with so many wonderful women!!

So there is one last mother’s day give away!  Yes I will pick ONE lucky mom or mom-to-be to be the recipient of $100 gift certificate.  To enter this contest I ask you to:

  • – share your favorite motherhood moment{s} via email to {and if you can’t pick one you can pick a few}.  I will send you a note to verify I got it 🙂
  • or you can leave a comment on this post
  • you must be subscribed to the blog – this is a thank you to clients & blog followers

I will pick a name randomly for the gift card but I will share all the mom moments {with no names} in my Mother’s Day post.  I think it will be fun to read!!   All emails must be received by Saturday May 12th at 6:00pm CST.   The winner will be announced in the Mother’s Day post.  Also if you share this post with others & they subscribe and enter – have them put your first name  & last initial in their comments along with their own name – as you will get an extra entry into the drawing – as how great would it be to win a gift certificate to get pictures of your loved ones?!?

So put your feet up and let you mind soar – it can be anything from the positive sign on a pregnancy test; first kick in womb; to a graduation; marriage etc.  I hope to be able to share stories from Mom’s of all ages.

Meredith - The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

Becoming a mother has been the most amazing gift. No one can ever explain in words the love you feel for your child. My heart is full and smile everyday.

Teri - Nothing beats nursing a newborn in the quiet dark of the wee hours in a rocking chair! Then, there’s the satisfaction of seeing my grown children become compassionate, loving adults on the brink of creating their own relationships…can’t wait to feel a grandchild in my arms…
