when a dream comes true – chicago family photographer {tinley park}

Last spring {as in 2013} one of my clients called to book a family session.  They have the cutest little guy and  I was happy that I would get to see them again!  As our call went on, she told me that they were hoping to get a few pictures taken for their adoption profile, as they had decided to take a break from fertility treatments after a few years, but still want to expand their family.  While I know this was not an easy decision for them, the one thing I did know was that they are amazing – wonderful – loving parents and any child would be blessed to call them their mom & dad.  So I was happy to be part of their journey in bringing home a new baby!

Here were a few of the images from their session.

Now fast forward to a blistery cold winter day in 2014 {I know you didn’t forget how cold this winter was} and my phone rings.  It was my client and while I thought she was going to tell me some news on the adoption process.  As she spoke I got goosebumps and teary eyed – because this fall they are expecting…… and she wanted to reserve her due date!

These were recently taken at her maternity session.

I truly feel honored to be able to share these moments.  She is just weeks away from delivery and the anticipation is high. And I can only image how excited the family is, as I an only the photographer and I can’t wait!!

Truly life is full of surprises & ones like this make us smile!!
